Catton Park is a tranquil and pleasant place to fish and somewhere to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside situated in between Lichfield and Burton upon Trent on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border.

The lake itself is approximately 10 acres in size and features an island with areas of heavily reeded margins and is surrounded by trees and shrubs.

It has a small exclusive membership of friendly and like-minded anglers.

The syndicate operates on a limited number, at a cost of £325 per year, with no closed season and 24 hour access for members.

During the winter of 2004 the lake was netted and over a ton of coarse fish removed. As a consequence of this, the carp have shown a noticeable increase in weight, with the lake now producing a great many fish of over 25lbs and a variety of different fish over 30lbs.

Although not to be classed as any easy water, multiple catches are not uncommon.
